Problem Solving

Your group will be assigned one of the problems. As a group, use the COMPLETE problem solving process to solve the problem.

For groups:

  1. How to enter a locked room.
  2. Add up a list of numbers.
  3. Getting from home to HTS in the morning.
  4. Getting from HTS to home in the evening.
  5. Keeping your garden growing during a drought like last summer.
  6. Getting from Chapel in the Gym 1 to your class in Room 117.

ASK YOUR TEACHER IF THE FOLLOWING SECTION IS ASSIGNED:
As an individual, you will pick one of the following problems. Use the COMPLETE problem solving process to solve the problem.

For individuals

  1. Find the slope of a line that goes through two points.
  2. Find the area of a triangle.
  3. Find the largest number in a list of numbers.
  4. Find and display the sum, difference, product and quotient for two numbers.
  5. What do you want to do as a career?

 

You will be required to hand in one or both of these.
