How to install Java and JCreator

You have to download and install 2 programs.

Read the instructions and it will very easy to complete!

You are going to install 2 programs.

Do it in this order: 1. Java SDK then 2. JCreator.

Detailed Instructions:

1. Download and install JAVA first.
Go to the Java download page. Download link for Java  (it will open in a new window)

Click on DOWNLOAD button

You now see this. Click on the highlighted item.
You will go to a new web page.

NOTE: the "21" may be a higher number by the time you download things.

You will go to a license page
  1. Select the platform (most likely Windows)
  2. Click Continue (at bottom of page)
Click on the file name, download it, install it.
   
2. Download and install JCreator second.
Go to JCreator down load page JCreator download page  (it will open in a new window)
Download the LE v5.00 - version

Please install this AFTER the Java J2SDK

  1. Supply you name and e-mail address (e.g. your HTS one)They will e-mail you a link to use as the download.
  2. remove the check in the box.
  3. click submit.
 
  Install it. Open it and do the set up just like you did in class (next, next, next, finish).

 

  • e-mail -> <- if you find any others that you like to use!!
